## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRCRAFT LANDED AT ALLIANCE FT WORTH AIRPORT (AFW) AT 2230. SHORTLY AFTER LANDING THE FRONT WHEEL BEGAN TO WOBBLE. THE FRONT WHEEL STRUT BAR BROKE AWAY FROM FUSELAGE CAUSING THE AIRCRAFT TO IMPACT THE RUNWAY ON THE NOSE GEAR FAIRING AND THE PROPELLER BLADES. THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO REST ON TOP OF THE FOLDED UNDER NOSE WHEEL AND TWO OF THE PROPELLERS HOLDING THE REST OF THE WEIGHT.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB CEN21LA108](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/CEN21LA108), Nov 6, 2020: Cirrus Design SR20 (N720TX), Fort Worth, TX, substantial damage. Probable cause: A failure of the nose wheel landing strut for reasons that could not be determined based on available information.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
