## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

N500EQ WAS PERFORMING A PREFLIGHT RUN UP ON THE TAXIWAY PARALLEL TO RUNWAY 17 AT THE TRADEWIND AIRPORT (TDW). A CITATION (C525) N70JK WAS ATTEMPTING TO LAND ON RUNWAY 17 BUT WAS INSTEAD LINED UP FOR THE PARALLEL TAXIWAY CONFLICTING WITH N500EQ. THE PILOT OF N500EQ CALLED THE FACILITY ON A RECORDED LINE TO REPORT A "NEAR MISS" STATING THAT N70JK OVERFLEW THEIR AIRCRAFT BY 20 TO 30 FEET WHILE GOING AROUND. THE PILOT OF N500EQ MADE AN EVASIVE MANEUVER ON THE TAXIWAY TO AVOID A COLLISION WITH THE CITATION CAUSING N500EQ TO IMPACT A TAXIWAY REFLECTOR RESULTING IN DAMAGE TO A PROPELLER.

THE PILOT OF N70JK WAS INTERVIEWED BY IIC. THE PILOT SAID THEY ATTEMPTED TO LAND TDW. THE RUNWAY LIGHTS WERE WORKING UNTIL THE AIRCRAFT WAS ON SHORT FINAL. THEN THE RUNWAY LIGHTS WENT OUT.

THE PILOT ABORTED LANDING AND DIVERTED TO AMA NO FURTHER INCIDENT.

THE PILOT OF N70JK SAID HE DID NOT SEE AND WAS NOT AWARE OF ANY AIRCRAFT ON GROUND AT TDW.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
