## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PIC WAS EXECUTING A VISUAL APPROACH AT NIGHT TO RUNWAY 33 AT MARTIN STATE AIRPORT USING THE PVASI FOR VERTICAL GUIDANCE. THE AIRCRAFT TOUCHED DOWN ON THE 1000 FOOT MARKERS WITH THE NOSE GEAR LOWERED ONTO THE RUNWAY. APPROXIMATELY ONE SECOND AFTER THE NOSE WHEEL TOUCHED DOWN, A DEER APPEARED MOVING LEFT TO RIGHT ACROSS THE RUNWAY. THE DEER IMPACTED THE NOSE GEAR OF THE AIRCRAFT, THEN HIT THE RIGHT WING NEAR THE WING ROOT, AND SUBSEQUENTLY HITTING THE RIGHT MAIN GEAR. THE AIRCRAFT REMAINED ON THE CENTERLINE AND WAS BROUGHT TO A STOP ON THE RUNWAY. SUBSEQUENT INSPECTION OF THE AIRCRAFT REVEALED THAT THE RIGHT SIDE OUTBOARD GEAR DOOR WAS DISLODGED FROM THE FUSELAGE. THE RIGHT WING LEADING EDGE WAS DENTED, WITH THE RIGHT INBOARD FLAP SHOWING MINOR DAMAGE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
