## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

SPOKE WITH PIC, HE REPORTED HE WAS ATTEMPTING TO LAND ON RUNWAY 28L AT HWD DURING HIS SECOND SOLO FLIGHT. THE AIRCRAFT BOUNCED AND HE LOST CONTROL DEPARTING RIGHT. NO DAMAGE TO AIRCRAFT. HE HAS SINCE RECEIVED AN ADDITIONAL 25 HOURS OF INSTRUCTION AT THE INSTRUCTION OF ADVANTAGE AVIATION. SPOKE WITH FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR, HE VERIFIED GIVING INSTRUCTION AND FELT THE PIC WAS UNAWARE OF THE LIMITATIONS OF THE AIRCRAFT. HE FOCUSED ON AERONAUTICAL DECISION MAKING AND APPROACH MANEUVERING.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
