## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AT APPROXIMATELY 1750 LOCAL TIME ON NOVEMBER 21, 2020, THE INCIDENT PILOT DECIDED ON A STRAIGHT IN APPROACH TO LAND AT KBTF RUNWAY 35. THE PILOT STATED SHE HAD A STABILIZED APPROACH AND HAD TURNED ON THE RUNWAY LIGHTS IN PREPARATION FOR LANDING. DURING TOUCHDOWN, SHE LANDING HARD ON THE RUNWAY AND THE NOSE OF THE AIRCRAFT BOUNCED HIGH SOUNDING THE STALL WARNING HORN. THE AIRCRAFT PORPOISED AND WHEN IT CAME BACK IN CONTACT WITH THE RUNWAY THE NOSE LANDING GEAR BROKE CAUSING A PROPELLER STRIKE AS WELL AS ADDITIONAL DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
