## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT STATED: SUNDAY, DECEMBER 20, 2020, AT APPROXIMATELY 6:15 PM, IWAS TAXING A 1982 CESSNA CENTURION 210N WITH REGISTRATION N56SL AT DAVID WAYNE HOOKS AIRPORT. I WAS ON TAXIWAY PAPA TAXIING TO MY HANGAR LOCATED IN D HANGAR ROW. AS I WAS TAXIING, A PLANE OR VEHICLE HEADED TOWARDS ME, TURNED ON ITS BRIGHT LIGHTS AND BLINDED ME FOR A MOMENT. IT WAS VERY DARK IN THE RAMP AREA WHERE I WAS TRYING TO EXIT TO GET TO MY HANGAR. AS A RESULT, I CUT THE TURN TO SOON AND WOUND UP IN THE DITCH THAT WAS FULL OF WATER.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
