## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT ATTEMPTED TO LAND THE AIRCRAFT IN A 25 KNOT CROSSWIND. WHILE IN THE ROUNDOUT, A GUST OF WIND HIT THE AIRCRAFT AND THE PILOT WAS UNABLE TO REACT. THE WIND FORCED THE AIRCRAFT INTO THE GROUND CAUSING SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE TO THE PROPELLER, FIREWALL AND LOWER FUSELAGE STRUCTURE OF THE AIRCRAFT.
