## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 5, MK27 SN 373 WAS RETURNING FROM A PRACTICE (NON-CUSTOMER) DELIVERY WHEN AN OFF-NOMINAL CONDITION PRESENTED. HAVING COMPLETED AN UNEVENTFUL TRANSITION FROM FORWARD FLIGHT TO VTOL, UPON DESCENT TO THE LANDING MARKER THE AIRCRAFT BEGAN TO YAW AT ABOUT 20 FEET AGL WITH CORRESPONDING AGCS ALERTS INDICATING A MOTOR FAILURE. THE OIC IMMEDIATELY COMMANDED AN URGENT LAND AND THE GSO RESPONDED BY INITIATING THE MANEUVER FROM THE GROUND STATION, AND THE AIRCRAFT LANDED UNDER POWER. THERE WERE NO INJURIES, AND DAMAGE WAS CONTAINED TO THE AIRCRAFT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
