## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

WHILE CONDUCTING AN INSTRUCTIONAL FLIGHT ADMINISTERING A FLIGHT REVIEW TO A NEW AIRCRAFT OWNER IN HIS CE-180, THEY EXPERIENCED A HARD LANDING. WX WAS NOT AN ISSUE, THE INICIDENT LANDING WAS NUMBER 4 FOR THE FLIGHT, WITH NO PRIOR LANDING OR OPERATIONAL PROBLEMS.

PIC STATED MEMORY OF THE FINAL MOMENTS UNCLEAR, BUT IT APPEARED THE AIRCRAFT DROPPED FROM TOO HIGH OFF THE RUNWAY.

DAMAGE TO LANDING GEAR LEGS, GEAR BOX STRUCTURE, AND PROPELLER WAS EVIDENT.

FOLLOW-UP INSPECTION WITH INSPECTION PANELS REMOVED (2/22/2021) REVEALED NO APPARENT STRUCTURAL DAMAGE OCCURRED AS A RESULT OF HARD LANDING.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
