## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 13 FEBRUARY 2021 , AT 1800 MST, A 1961 MOONEY M20C, REGISTERED TO ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^, EXPERIENCED A HARD LANDING IN GUSTY CROSSWINDS IN SOCORRO, NM, KONM, CAUSING THE RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR TO COLLAPSE, RESULTING IN A PROP STRIKE AND SUPERFICIAL DAMAGE TO THE BELLY OF THE AIRCRAFT. VISUAL METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS PREVAILED AT THE TIME, AND A VFR FLIGHT PLAN WAS NOT FILED. THE FAA CERTIFICATED COMMERCIAL PILOT WAS NOT INJURED. THE FLIGHT ORIGINATED AT THE SANTA TERESA, NM, AIRPORT, KDNA.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
