## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 02/18/2021, THE PILOT WAS ON A CROSS COUNTRY FLIGHT FROM SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA TO OREGON WITH A FUEL STOP AT THE NERVINO AIRPORT, BECKWORTH, CA. THERE WERE NUMEROUS SHOWERS IN THE AREA. AFTER THE AIRCRAFT WAS REFUELED, THE PILOT AND HIS 3 PASSENGERS ATTEMPTED TO DEPART RUNWAY 26 BUT FELT A LOSS OF LIFT AFTER ROTATION. HE THEN MADE THE DECISION TO ABORT THE TAKEOFF. THE AIRCRAFT OVERRAN THE RUNWAY, RUNNING THROUGH A CHAIN LINK FENCE. THE NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED, AND THE PROPELLER IMPACTED THE GROUND. THE WING HAD SEVERAL DENTS FROM THE FENCE POSTS. BUT OVERALL, THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE AIRCRAFT WAS MOVED TO A MAINTENANCE SITE FOR REPAIRS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
