## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AFTER TAKEOFF FROM BILL MARTIN MEMORIAL AIRPORT (KAOV), AVA, MO, THE LANDING GEAR BECAME MECHANICALLY JAMMED AT MID TRAVEL. THE PILOT ELECTED TO CONTINUE TO HIS DESTINATION OF KJEF. UPON ARRIVAL, THE PILOT ATTEMPTED TO TURN THE EMERGENCY EXTENSION HANDCRANK, BUT WAS UNSUCCESSFUL. THE PILOT MADE THE DECISION TO LAND THE AIRCRAFT AT KJEF WITH THE LANDING GEAR IN AN UNKNOWN CONFIGURATION. ON LANDING, THE AIRCRAFT SLID ON THE GEAR DOORS AND STAYED ON THE RUNWAY UNTIL STOPPED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
