## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 03/04/2021, A STUDENT PILOT WAS TAXING BACK AFTER PERFORMING SOLO OPERATIONS IN THE TRAFFIC PATTERN AT FALLBROOK AIRPORT (L18). HE STATED THAT HE WAS FOLLOWING ANOTHER AIRCRAFT AS HE TAXIED TO PARKING. THE OTHER AIRCRAFT PULLED OFF TO GET FUEL. HE THEN NOTICED A TRUCK ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ DOUBLE PARKED IN THE NON-MOVEMENT AREA ON THE TAXIWAY. HE FIRST THOUGHT HE COULD GET AROUND THE TRUCK BUT REALIZED TOO LATE THAT HE COULD NOT. HE ENDED UP BREAKING THE BACK WINDOW OF THE TRUCK WITH HIS LEFT WING, CAUSING MINOR DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
