## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT STATED HE WAS APPROXIMATELY 3 SECONDS INTO HIS TAKE OFF ROLL AFTER APPLYING FULL POWER, HE HEARD A

BANG AND THE ENGINE BEGAN TO SHAKE. HE IMMEDIATELY ABORTED THE TAKE OFF. HE

THOUGHT THE ALTERNATOR BELT BROKE. HE GOT OUT OF THE PLANE AND FOUND A

PUNCTURE HOLE IN THE EMPENNAGE DIRECTLY BELOW THE PROPELLER AND A 6? PORTION OF ONE OF THE PROPELLER TIPS WAS MISSING.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
