## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT MADE AN APPROACH TO THE RUNWAY , HOWEVER DECIDED TO GO AROUND. UPON THE SECOND ATTEMPT, THE AIRCRAFT TOUCHED DOWN, BUT THE PILOT LOST CONTROL OF THE AIRCRAFT AND APPLIED POWER TO TAKE OFF. HOWEVER, SHORTLY AFTER TAKING OFF, THE AIRCRAFT APPEARED TO HAVE STALLED AS IT VEERED TO THE LEFT AND CRASHED INTO TREES BEFORE COMING TO REST ON THE GROUND..

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB ERA21LA162](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/ERA21LA162), Mar 26, 2021: Bellanca 1730 (N93638), Bessemer, AL, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot’s failure to maintain control of the airplane, which resulted in an exceedance of the airplane’s critical angle of attack, and a subsequent aerodynamic stall.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
