## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

N31609 WAS CRUISING AT 6000' ON AN IFR FP WHEN THEY NOTIFIED ATC OF A POTENTIAL ELECTRICAL LOSS AND NEEDED TO DIVERT TO

KDEQ. N31609 WAS OVER KDEQ AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT AND APPEARED TO BEGIN AN IMMEDIATE DESCENT TO THE TRAFFIC PATTERN.N31609 LATER ADVISED ZFW OMIC THAT THEY WERE UNABLE TO LOWER THE GEAR IN THE PATTERN, AND EXECUTED AN "UNEVENTFUL" GEARUP LANDING AT KDEQ. THIS WILL BE AMENDED AS SOON AS MORE INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE.. MAINTENANCE TO BE SCHEDULED AT A MUCH LATER DATE

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
