## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON APRIL 4, 2021 AT APPROXIMATELY 1344 EDT, AIRCRAFT N982EC STRUCK A BIRD SHORTLY AFTER DEPARTURE FROM LEESBURG INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (LEE) FL. NO IRREGULARITIES IN FLIGHT WERE NOTED AND CREW DECIDED TO CONTINUE WITH FLIGHT TO DALLAS LOVE AIRPORT (DAL).

UPON LANDING, PILOTS NOTED POINT OF IMPACT OF BIRD ON AIRCRAFT AND REPORTED TO MAINTENANCE ACCORDINGLY.

FOLLOW ON MAINTENANCE PERFORMED ON AIRCRAFT AND RETURNED TO SERVICE

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
