## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 4/6/2021 N697CA WAS MANEUVERING OVER JAMUL CA IT STRUCK WHAT APPEARS TO BE A HAWK WITH ITS LEFT WING. THE AIRCRAFT THEN FLEW TO GILLESPIE AIRPORT AND LANDED WITH NO PROBLEMS. AFTER THE AIRCRAFT TAXIED TO THE RAMP THE HAWK WAS STILL STUCK TO THE LEFT LEADING EDGE OF THE WING. AN FAA FORM 200-7 WAS PROVIDED TO THE FAA. AIRCRAFT IS AWAITING SHEETMETAL REPAIRS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
