## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AT APPROXIMATELY 15:25 PDT (2225Z), ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^, A PRIVATE PILOT, DEPARTED IN N316SV, A LIGHT SPORT AIRCRAFT, FROM WARNER SPRINGS AIRPORT (CL35) TO PALM SPRINGS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (KPSP). AS THE AIRCRAFT APPROACHED RUNWAY 31R, THE AIRCRAFT TOUCHED DOWN, BOUNCED UP A FEW FEET AND FOLLOWED WITH A HARD LANDING RESULTING IN THE NOSE GEAR COLLAPSING. AIRPORT EMERGENCY SERVICES WERE SUMMONED TO THE INCIDENT. MINIMAL AIRCRAFT DAMAGE OCCURRED WITH BOTH OCCUPANTS ON BOARD THE AIRCRAFT UNINJURED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
