## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT WAS TOO FAST ON FINAL AND REDUCED POWER TO SOON CAUSING AIRCRAFT TO DROP APPROXIMATELY 50 TO 100 AGL ABOVE RUNWAY. AIRCRAFT TOUCHED DOWN TWICE, ON THIRD TOUCH DOWN THE NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED AND CAUSED THE TAIL TO PITCH UP AND FORCE THE PROPELLER TO COME IN CONTACT WITH THE GROUND,RESULTING IN SUDDEN ENGINE STOPPAGE. THE PILOT WAS ABLE TO EGRESS WITHOUT INJURY ,MOMENTS AFTER EGRESS, HE RETURNED TO THE AIRCRAFT AND SHUTDOWN ALL VITAL SYSTEMS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
