## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PURPOSE OF THIS LOCAL FLIGHT WAS FOR THE PILOT TO BECOME MORE FAMILIAR WITH THE AIRCRAFT ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^. A PILOT WHO WAS MORE FAMILIAR WITH THE AIRCRAFT WAS RIDING ALONG AS A PASSENGER. THE PILOT STATED THAT IN THE LANDING SEQUENCE HE MADE A HIGH FLARE AND THE AIRCRAFT HAD PITCH OSCILLATIONS CAUSING LOSS OF CONTROL. THE AIRCRAFT BELLY HAD MINOR DAMAGE. NTSB INVESTIGATOR DETERMINED THE AIRCRAFT HAD MINOR DAMAGE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
