## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AT DEPARTING KTEB, 12 MINUTES INTO THE FLIGHT PASSING FL250, AIRCRAFT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE OF THE OUTER PANE OF THE COPILOT SIDE WINDOW. WITHIN 5 SECONDS AIRCRAFT HAD EXPLOSIVE DECOMPRESSION OF COPILOTS SIDE WINDOW WHEN MOST OF THE INNER PANE OF THE COPLOTS SIDE WINDOW EXITED THE AIRCRAFT.

CREW EXECUTED EMERGENCY DESCENT, CREW FOUND IT VERY DIFFICULT TO COMMUNICATE WITH EACH OTHER AND ATC VERBALLY DUE TO EXTREME NOISE IN COCKPIT. CREW PERFORMED EMERGENCY DESCENT AND LANDING AT KACY LANDED AND TAXIED IN WITH NO FURTHER ISSUES.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
