## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON APRIL 25, 2021 THE PILOT OF N2424 WAS EXECUTING A SERIES OF FULL STOP LANDINGS TO OBTAIN RECENCY OF EXPERIENCE CURRENCY. ON THE FORTH LANDING, (NOW 0030 ON APRIL 26, 2021) HE NEGLECTED TO LOWER THE LANDING GEAR ON HIS AMPHIBIOUS AIRCRAFT. THE AIRCRAFT TOUCHED DOWN ON THE RUNWAY AND SKIDDED TO A STOP ON THE FLOATS. THE FLOATS SUSTAINED ONLY MINOR DAMAGE TO THE KEEL STRIPS. THERE WERE NO INJURIES TO THE PERSON ON BOARD. THE AIRCRAFT WAS RAISED, GEAR LOWERED, AND THE PILOT TAXIED THE AIRCRAFT OFF THE RUNWAY. VFR WEATHER PREVAILED DURING THE FLIGHTS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
