## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^PILOT IN COMMAND STATED HE WAS PRACTICING LANDINGS AND JUST FLYING FOR PLEASURE. HE OBTAINED A WEATHER REPORT (PATWAS) BEFORE TAKEOFF AND THOUGHT THE WINDS WOULD BE MANAGEABLE. AFTER CHECKING WEATHER BEFORE APPROACH AND TO HIS SURPRISE WINDS WERE GUSTING TO 7 KNOTS ACROSS RUNWAY. (AIRCRAFT MAX CROSSWIND 12KNOTS) A GUST OF WIND PUSHED THE WING UP. HE TRIED TO CORRECT BUT HIS FOOT APPARENTLY HIT THE BRAKE, CAUSING A NOSE OVER.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
