## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE OFFICE WAS NOTIFIED ON MAY 17, 2021 OF AN ACCIDENT THAT OCCURRED AT THE PROVO (KPVU) AIRPORT ON 05/12/2021. MOONEY AIRCRAFT MODEL M20C LANDED GEAR UP ON RUNWAY 13 AT APPROXIMATELY 1330 DUE TO THE PILOT NOT EXTENDING THE LANDING GEAR. THE PILOT IN COMMAND WAS THE SOLE OCCUPANT AND THERE WERE NO REPORTED INJURIES.

DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT INCLUDED: PROPELLER, DAMAGE TO THE UNDER BELLY SKIN OF THE AIRCRAFT.

THE AIRMAN IS NO LONGER THE OWNER OF THIS MOONEY AIRCRAFT. THE INSURANCE COMPANY DEEMED THE AIRCRAFT TO BE TOTALED DUE TO THIS INCIDENT AND TOOK POSSESSION OF THE AIRCRAFT LOGBOOKS AND RECORDS. THE AIRFRAME HOURS WERE UNAVAILABLE TO BE LOGGED IN THIS REPORT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
