## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

RIGHT MAIN BRAKE FAILED DURING TOUCH DOWN/ROLLOUT.

CONTACTED PILOT/OPERATOR BY PHONE. INCIDENT OCCURRED ON 05/17/2021 AT 8PM/20:00. ACCORDING TO PILOT. HE AND HIS SON WERE FLYING BACK FROM MER TO FFZ. DURING LANDING / ROLL-OUT THE RIGHT MAIN GEAR BRAKE MALFUNCTIONED (BRAKE FAILURE). WHILE TRYING TO SLOW AIRCRAFT DOWN DURING LANDING OPERATIONS, THE PILOT MANIPULATED FLIGHT CONTROLS IN AN ATTEMPT TO SLOW AIRCRAFT DOWN ALONG WITH THE USING THE LEFT MAIN GEAR BRAKE. THE AIRCRAFT WENT OFF THE RUNWAY COLLAPSING THE NOSE GEAR AND CAUSING DAMAGE TO BOTH ENGINES AND PROPELLERS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
