## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

05/19/2021: N7568N CRASHED AT N13 FOLLOWING AN UNSUCCESSFUL LANDING ATTEMPT. PILOT STATED THE PLANE PORPISED SEVERAL TIMES AND THE NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED BEFORE HE COULD INITIATE A GO AROUND. DAMAGE TO AIRCRAFT WAS SUBSTANTIAL. PILOT RECEIVED A FEW SMALL CUTS.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB ERA21LA268](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/ERA21LA268), May 19, 2021: Cessna T210 (N7568N), Bloomsburg, PA, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot’s unstable approach and delayed go-around attempt, which resulted in a porpoised landing, a nose landing gear collapse, and runway excursion.

## Other reports on N7568N (1)

Matched to the same aircraft by N-number and date.

- [Accident 19890512011399A](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19890512011399A), May 12, 1989: Cessna T210N (N7568N), Monterey, CA, Substantial damage. Landed gear up. Was distracted by radio transmissions. Failed to extend the landing gear.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
