## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

- DURING TRAFFIC PATTERN OPERATIONS AT KLHQ, N12860 HAD A BIRD STRIKE. PIC IMMEDIATELY RETURNED TO THE AIRPORT FOR AN UNEVENTFUL LANDING. DAMAGE WAS LIMITED THE LEFT MAIN WING - LEADING EDGE SKIN, THREE RIBS, AND NO ADDITIONAL DAMAGE TO THE WING SPAR OR ANY OTHER INTERNAL OR EXTERNAL COMPONENTS. REPAIRS WERE COMPLETED AND AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE. BASED ON THE REPLACEMENT OF THESE PARTS AND I.A.W. 14 CFR § PART 43, APPX. A, EVENT CLASSIFIED AS AN ?INCIDENT?.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
