## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON MAY 26/2021, AT 11:30AM EDT, WHILE ON A RELOCATION FLIGHT FROM SARASOTA BRADENTON INT'L AIRPORT (SRQ-SARASOTA, FL), N177H, A CESSNA 177RG, REGISTERED TO ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ (NOKOMIS, FL), EXPERIENCED A GEAR UP LANDING ON RUNWAY 23 AT THE VENICE MUNICIPAL AIRPORT (VNC-VENICE, FL). VISUAL METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS PREVAILED AT THE TIME. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE. THE PILOT AND PASSENGER WERE UNINJURED. THE FIGHT ORIGINATED EARLIER THE SAME DAY FROM THE VENICE MUNICIPAL AIRPORT (VNC-VENICE, FL) TO CONDUCT A WILDLIFE SURVEY FLIGHT IN THE SARASOTA (FL) AREA.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
