## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRCRAFT DEPARTED LONG BEACH AIRPORT (LGB)WITH BOTH ENGINES OPERATING NORMAL IN ALL RESPECTS. AT OR ABOUT 10,000 FEET INTO A CLIMB,THE RIGHT ENGINE MADE A LOUD POPPING SOUND,FOLLOWED BY A DROP IN THE ITT WHICH RESULTED IN A RIGHT ENGINE ANNUNCIATOR FAILURE LIGHT INDICATION. PILOT REQUESTED A VECTOR TO RETURN TO (LGB).USING HIS CESSNA CHECKLIST FOR ENGINE SHUTDOWN HE RETURNED TO LGB WITHOUT INCIDENT. OWNER WILL CONTACT US WITH FINDINGS FROM ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ ENGINES AFTER TEARDOWN AND REPAIRS HAVE BEEN PERFORMED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
