## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

APPROXIMATELY 50 MINUTES INTO THE FLIGHT THE PILOT REPORTED THERE WAS A LOUD BANG FOLLOWED BY SEVERE ENGINE VIBRATION. THE PILOT THROTTLED BACK AND THE VIBRATION BECAME WORSE. THE PILOT PUT THE THROTTLE TO FULL POWER WHICH MADE THE VIBRATION SLIGHTLY BETTER. THREE QUARTERS OF A MILE FROM 2NE0 A COMPLETE POWER LOSS WAS EXPERIENCED. THE ATTEMPT TO LAND IN A CORN FIELD RESULTED IN THE AIRCRAFT BEING FLIPPED UPSIDE DOWN.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)
