## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

DURING THE PERFORMANCE OF A WHEEL LANDING (TWO MAIN GEAR ON THE GROUND AND TAILWHEEL STILL IN THE AIR). AS THE AIRCRAFT SLOWED THE PILOT OVER-CORRECTED ON A RUDDER INPUT SO AS SOON AS THE TAIL WHEEL MADE CONTACT WITH THE RUNWAY HE WAS UNABLE TO KEEP DIRECTIONAL CONTROL OF THE AIRCRAFT (RAN OUT OF RUDDER AUTHORITY DUE TO THE SLOW SPEED). THIS RESULTED IN A RIGHT TURNING GROUND LOOP AND DEPARTURE FROM THE PREPARED SURFACE. THUS MAKING CONTACT WITH A RUNWAY LIGHT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
