## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

2021-06-17 N2250P, AYRES CORPORATION S2R-G100930, 137 OPERATOR SPRAYING A POTATO FIELD WITH A FUNGICIDE LANDED IN A FIELD COLLAPSING LANDING GEAR.

WHILE CLEANING UP A PREVIOUSLY MISSED AREA THE PIC LOOKED INSIDE AT A MOVING MAP AND FELT THE AIRCRAFT MAKE CONTACT WITH THE POTATO FIELD, FELT A VIBRATION FROM THE PROPELLER CONTACTING THE GROUND. THE PILOT HAD ENOUGH AIRSPEED TO PULL THE AIRCRAFT INTO THE AIR HOWEVER THE ENGINE WAS NO LONGER RUNNING. BECAUSE OF THE LOW ALTITUDE A RESTART WAS NOT ATTEMPTED. THE REMAINING FUNGICIDE (APPROXIMATELY 350 GALLONS) WAS JETTISONED AND FULL FLAPS WERE DEPLOYED. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED IN AN ADJACENT FIELD AND THE LANDING GEAR COLLAPSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
