## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 6/18/2021 AT 2010Z, N6942M EXPERIENCED A PROPELLER STRIKE WHILE LANDING ON RUNWAY 16R. THE AIRCRAFT TAXIED TO THE RAMP. ONE PERSON ON BOARD, NO INJURIES. DURING A TELEPHONE INTERVIEW WITH THIS INVESTIGATOR ON 8/2/2021, THE PIC STATED HE APPLIED THE BRAKES TO MAINTAIN DIRECTIONAL CONTROL DURING ROLLOUT, AND THE AIRPLANE PITCHED FORWARD AND STRUCK THE GROUND. HE RELEASED THE BRAKES AS SOON AS HE HEARD THE PROPELLER HITTING. HE STATED THE MISHAP WAS NOT A GROUND LOOP BUT RATHER A MISAPPLICATION OF THE BRAKES.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
