## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON JUNE 19, 2021, AT 1559 MDT, A BOMBARDIER BD-700-1A11, N40TE, REGISTERED TO ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ SCRAPED THE LEFT WINGTIP ON LANDING AT DOUBLE EAGLE II AIRPORT (KAEG), ALBUQUERQUE, NM WHILE ON A PART 91 FLIGHT. VISUAL METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS PREVAILED AT THE TIME AND AN IFR FLIGHT PLAN WAS FILED. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE ACCORDING TO THE NTSB AND THERE WERE NO INJURIES TO THE FLIGHT CREW (3) AND PASSENGERS (7). THE FLIGHT ORIGINATED FROM MC CLELLAN-PALOMAR AIRPORT, CARLSBAD, CA ON JUNE 19, 2021 AT 1438 MDT.

THE TWO ATP PILOTS OF THE AIRCRAFT STATED THE APPROACH TO LANDING WAS NORMAL UNTIL IN THE FLARE OVER THE RUNWAY AND A GUST OF WIND OR POSSIBLE DIRT DEVIL LIFTED THE RIGHT WING AND THE LEFT WING STRUCK THE RUNWAY. THEY LANDED THE AIRCRAFT AND TAXIED TO THE RAMP WHERE THEY FOUND DAMAGE TO THE LEFT WING TIP, LEFT AILERON OUTBOARD TRAILING EDGE, LEFT OUTBOARD SLAT AND LEFT OUTBOARD FLAP.

THE NINE RESPONSIBILITIES ARE MARKED NO IN BLOCK 42 BECAUSE WEATHER WAS INDICATED AS A FACTOR. THE AIRPORT OFTEN HAS GUSTY WINDS AND DIRT DEVILS IN THE AREA.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
