## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE NOSE GEAR FORK CRACKED AND CAUSED THE AIRCRAFT TO DIP DOWN DAMAGING THE PROPELLER AS TURNING ONTO THE TAXI WAY.

THE IS THE SECOND FAILURE OF THE NOSE FORK IN THE LAST 2 MONTHS ON THIS AIRCRAFT. IT IS EVIDENT THAT THE NOSE TIRE IS EXPANDING UPON LANDING AND RUBBING THE FORK. YOU CAN SEE THE RUB MARKS ON THE INSIDE OF THE FORK.

THE COMPANY HAS NO IPC THEREFORE NO PART NUMBER FOR THE FORK IS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME.

THE ENGINE IS REMOVED AND SHIPPED TO THE MANUFACTURE FOR INSPECTION FOR HIDDEN DAMAGE.

FROM DISCUSSION WITH OPERATOR ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ WILL PROVIDE IMPROVED NOSE GEAR FORK SIMILAR TO THE ONE USED ON THE R12.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
