## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT INTENDED TO LAND RUNWAY 02 AT 1U2 AIRPORT. THE PILOT NOTICED A CROP DUSTER IN THE AREA OF THE AIRPORT AND ASSUMED IT HAD DEPARTED TO THE NORTH AFTER TAKING OFF. WHILE ON FINAL FOR RWY 02 THE PILOT THOUGHT A SEPERATE CROP DUSTER DESCENDED ON A SHORT RIGHT BASE FOR RWY 20 AND APPEARED TO BE GETTING READY TO LAND. BECAUSE OF THIS THE PILOT ATTEMPTED TO GO AROUND, HOWEVER WITH THE AIRCRAFT IN LANDING CONFIGURATION AND WITH HIGH DENSITY ALTITUDE CONDITIONS AT 100' AGL THE AIRCRAFT STALLED, THE LEFT WING DROPPED, AND THE PILOT DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH ALTIUDE TO RECOVER BEFORE HITTING THE GROUND WITH THE AIRCRAFT EVENTUALLY COMING TO REST UPSIDE DOWN .

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB WPR21LA255](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/WPR21LA255), Jun 30, 2021: Cessna 150 (N1972L), Terreton, ID, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's exceedance of the airplane's critical angle of attack during a go-around, which resulted in an aerodynamic stall and subsequent impact with terrain.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
