## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT STATED HE WAS IN BOUND ON RUNWAY 8, HE HAD A 9 KNOT CROSS WIND AND WHILE ATTEMPTING TO LAND HE FELT A GUST OF AIR. AS HE TRIED TO LAND, THE NOSE TIRE STRUCK THE GROUND FIRST. AS THE AIRCRAFT BOUNCED, HE ADDED POWER TO GO AROUND AND ABORTED THE LANDING. THE SECOND LANDING WAS FINE. UPON SHUT DOWN HE REALIZED THE RIGHT PROPELLER STRUCK THE GROUND ON THE INITIAL ATTEMPTED LANDING AND THE NOSE TIRE WAS FLAT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
