## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON LANDING & DURING ROLL OUT, A/C DRIFTED TO RIGHT OF EDGE OF RUNWAY. FULL LEFT RUDDER INPUT MADE. DUE TO LOW SPEED RUDDER INPUT NOT EFFECTIVE AT RETURNING A/C TO CENTERLINE. LEFT BRAKE WAS APPLIED LIGHTLY, HOWEVER BRAKING EFFECT WAS GREATER THAN DESIRED CAUSING A/C TO VEER SHARPLY TO THE LEFT RESULTING IN RIGHT WING TIP STRIKING THE GROUND. AILERON WAS ALSO DAMAGED. RIGHT SIDE OF GEAR COLLAPSED AND STRUCK LEFT SIDE CAUSING LEFT SIDE GEAR TO COLLAPSE AS WELL. PILOT & ONE PASSENGER ON BOARD. NO INJURIES SUSTAINED DURING THE EVENT.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB WPR21LA267](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/WPR21LA267), Jul 11, 2021: Just JA30 Superstol (N17VP), May, ID, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot’s failure to maintain directional control during the landing roll, which resulted in a ground-loop and collision with terrain.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
