## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON JULY 17, 2021 AT 1200 CDT, A PA-28 PIPER 180 AIRCRAFT BEARING REGISTRATION NUMBER N3676R, REGISTERED TO ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^, MADE AN OFF FIELD LANDING 1.5 NORTH OF LBB RUNWAY17 AFTER FAILING TO ACHIEVE CLIMB PERFORMANCE DURING TAKE-OFF AT ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (LBB) IN LUBBOCK TX. THE AIRCRAFT WAS BEING OPERATED ON AN INSTRUCTIONAL FLIGHT. VISUAL METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS PREVAILED AT THE TIME, AND NO FLIGHT PLAN WAS FILED. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED NO DAMAGE, AND THE PILOT AND STUDENT SUSTAINED NO INJURIES. THE FLIGHT ORIGINATED FROM ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ MEMORIAL AIRPORT (F49) IN SLATON, TX ON JULY 17, 2021 AT 1145 CDT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
