## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT WAS RETURNING TO THE AIRPORT TRAFFIC PATTERN AT FNT. THE METAR AND OTHER DOCUMENTS RELATED TO THE INCIDENT INDICATES THE WEATHER WAS 10 MILE VISIBILITY AND CLEAR. PILOT WAS CLEARED TO LAND. ON LANDING, THE PILOT REPORTED TO THE TOWER THAT HE HAS HAD A NO GEAR LANDING. LATTER IN THE ATC TAPES, THE GEAR HORN CAN BE HEARD. PHOTOS FROM BOTH THE AIRPORT OPS AND THE RESPONDING MECHANIC, SHOW THE PLANE RESTING ON THE RUNWAY WITH THE GEAR IN THE RETRACTED POSITION. THIS WAS VERIFIED BY THE MECHANIC RESPONDING TO THE SCENE. THE PILOT INDICATED IN THE PILOT STATEMENT THAT HE HAD PERFORMED A GEAR DOWN CHECK AND VISUALLY THE GEARS POSITION USING A MINOR MOUNTED ON THE STRUT BEFORE LANDING.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
