## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON JULY 27TH 2021 AT APPROXIMATELY 13:30 LOCAL THE LISTED AIRCRAFT DEPARTED PORT LAVACA AIRPORT (PVK) IN CALHOUN COUNTY, TEXAS, ENROUTE TO PIERCE FIELD (72TA) LOCATED ON GREEK ISLAND WITH 2 POB. THE PIC CLIMBED TO 3500 FEET TO PRACTICE MANEUVERS AND THEN DESCENDED TO 500 FEET ALONG THE WEST SIDE OF MATAGORDA PENINSULA. AFTER NAVIGATION MANEUVERS TO SET UP FOR LANDING AT 72TA, THE AIRCRAFT BEGAN TO EXPERIENCE A LOSS OF POWER WITH NO THROTTLE CHANGES MADE BY THE PIC. RPM AND ALTITUDE DECAY WERE THE ONLY NOTICED INDICATIONS AND A EMERGENCY LANDING WAS EXECUTED LANDING ON THE BEACH, FIRST ON HARD PACKED WET SAND AND THEN INTO SOFT DRY SAND WHERE THE AIRCRAFT NLG, L/H WING TIP, ENGINE MOUNT, LOWER CENTER FIRE WALL AND PROPELLER INCURRED DAMAGE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
