## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

DURING A LONG ROLLOUT FOLLOWING A LANDING AT APPROXIMATELY 52-59 KNOTS ON A GRASS RWY, THE AIRPLANE GROUND-LOOPED LEFT STRIKING A TREE WITH THE RIGHT WING CRUSHING THE LEADING EDGE AND LANDING LIGHT, THE PROP IMPACTED A WOODEN SIGN, AND THE NOSE COWLING SUSTAINED SOME MINOR DAMAGE.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB WPR21LA314](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/WPR21LA314), Jul 27, 2021: Cubcrafters CCX-2000 (N161BS), Roseburg, OR, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot’s failure to maintain directional control during the landing roll which, resulted in a runway excursion and collision with a tree.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
