As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

DURING LANDING, THE AIRCRAFT LANDED LONG AND PORPOISED SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE HITTING A DITCH AT THE END OF THE RUNWAY BREAKING THE NOSE GEAR, RIGHT MAIN GEAR, ENGINE MOUNT AND BENDING THE FIREWALL.

THE AIRCRAFT PILOT REPORTED A LARGE BUMP ON THE RUNWAY CAUSED THE AIRCRAFT TO PORPOISE SEVERAL TIMES . HE STATED THAT HE TRIED TO USE BRAKES TO STOP BUT THEY DID NOT WORK.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

- [NTSB CEN21LA344](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/CEN21LA344), Jul 30, 2021: Weiss Denis Sparrow II (N725DW), Oshkosh, WI, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot’s improper landing flare which resulted in a bounced landing, a loss of control, and runway excursion.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
