## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AUGUST 1 2021 N82GA SBD-5 WAS PARKED AT A 45 DEG ANGLE FROM TAXI WAY ON CONGESTED RAMP AT FLD. AIRCRAFT WAS FACING A SNJ N916DC PARKED ABOUT 30 YARDS AWAY. THE PILOT WAS GIVEN CLEARANCE TO TAXI TO THE RUNWAY FOR TAKEOFF. ON TAXI OUT HE FELT THE FLIGHT CONTROL JERK TO THE RIGHT AND HE STATED THAT HE KNEW HE HAD STRUCK SOMETHING AND IMMEDIATELY APPLIED THE BRAKES. HE STATED HE LOOKED TO THE RIGHT AND SAW THE HIS RIGHT WING OVER THE SNJ LEFT WING. THE AILERON OF THE SBD HAD STRUCK THE WING TIP OF THE SNJ LEAVING A DENT IN THE WING TIP AND IT RAN DOWN THE LEADING EDGE OF THE SNJ LEAVING MINOR DENTS AND SCRATCHES. THE PILOT STATED HE DID NOT SEE THE SNJ DUE TO HIS VIEW BEING OBSTRUCTED BY THE NOSE OF THE SBD. NO WING WALKERS WERE PRESENT AT THE TIME.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
