## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

- [NTSB CEN21LA392](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/CEN21LA392), Aug 26, 2021: Cessna 172 (N12573), Olive Branch, MS, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot’s failure to maintain directional control of the airplane during landing with a direct crosswind that resulted in an impact with terrain.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong.
