## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON AUGUST 29, 2021 N501TC A 500 AERO COMMANDER WAS INVOLVED IN AN INCIDENT WHEN THE AIRCRAFT LANDING GEAR RETRACTED DURING A GROUND TAXI AFTER LANDING. AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT THE AIRCRAFT WAS CONDUCTING SEVERAL LANDINGS DURING AN INSTRUCTIONAL FLIGHT. INVESTIGATION INDICATED THAT THE LANDING GEAR CONTROL LEVER WAS NOT IN THE LATCHED POSITION CAUSING THE GEAR HANDLE TO PARTIAL RAISE AND THE GEAR TO START RETRACT. THERE WERE NO REPORTED INJURIES AND DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT FUSELAGE WAS MINIMAL.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
