## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON SEPTEMBER 10,2021,^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^, AND^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ DEPARTED WESTOVER AIR BASE (KCEF) IN AIRCRAFT N64SM AT APROXIMATELY 5:20 PM LOCAL FOR A FLIGHT TO ORANGE MUNICIPAL AIRPORT(KORE). THE PLAN WAS TO PRACTICE TAKEOFFS, LANDINGS, AND AIRWORK AND THEN RETURN TO KCEF.

AT APPROXIMATELY 6:15 PM WHILE PRACTICING A SHORT FIELD LANDING,THE AIRCRAFT SETTLED ON RUNWAY 32 AT KORE WITH THE LANDING GEAR RETRACTED. PER THE NARRATIVE PROVIDED BY THE PILOT IN COMMAND, THE LANDING GEAR HANDLE WAS FOUND IN THE UP POSITION AFTER THE GEAR UP LANDING. WITH THE ASSISTANCE OF AIRPORT PERSONNEL, THE LOCAL FIRE DEPARTMENT AND A LOCAL TOWING SERVICE, THE AIRCRAFT WAS RAISED ENOUGH TO EXTEND THE LANDING GEAR AND WAS TOWED TO THE TERMINAL RAMP AREA.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
