## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRCRAFT WAS CLEARED TO LAND ON RUNWAY 14 AT SONOMA COUNTY AIRPORT, STS. ON LANDING ROLL OUT, THE PIC APPLIED EXCESSIVE BRAKING TO CLEAR THE RUNWAY. THE WINDS WERE 11 KTS DOWN RUNWAY 14. THE PIC DID NOT APPLY BACK PRESSURE ON THE ELEVATOR CONTROL. THE BRAKING ACTION COMBINED WITH THE WINDS CAUSED THE AIRCRAFT TAIL TO CAME UP AND THE PROPELLER CONTACTED THE RUNWAY. THE PIC SHUT DOWN THE ENGINE AND PUSHED THE AIRCRAFT CLEAR OF THE RUNWAY AND BACK TO THE HANGAR.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
