PILOT STATED: "ON FRIDAY, 9/17/21 BETWEEN 10:00 AND 11:00 AM WE WERE IN NC SPRAYING BEANS. I CAME IN AND GOT THE FIRST LOAD OF THE DAY AND WHEN I FLEW OFF, THE HELICOPTER DID NOT HAVE SUFFICIENT POWER. WHEN I WENT TO COME OFF THE TRUCK THE LOW ROTOR RPM HORN CAME ON AND BY THEN I WAS IN THE BEANS. THE ENGINE WAS STILL RUNNING WITH POWER AND I SHUT IT OFF."

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB ERA21LA368](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/ERA21LA368), Sep 17, 2021: Hughes 369 (N420AT), Ash, NC, substantial damage. Probable cause: A partial loss of engine power due to corrosion and erosion damage to the engine’s compressor section components.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
